On 31st October 2018, 12-year-old Ruby was hit by a car on the way to school in Hillcrest, Hamilton. She has sustained serious injuries that will take a long time to rehabilitate from, and we want to support her and her amazing family get through this traumatic time.
Ruby's Dad works as a teacher aid at the local primary school, and her Mum works as a pediatric nurse, and she has a younger sister. The Krishnan's are an incredibly generous and giving family, and they give so much to the community already. Ruby is a courageous young lady and has a tough road ahead of her.
We can help to take some of the financial stress away that such an injury incurs so the whole family can recover.
We are both long time friends of the Krishnan family.
Funds raised will go towards the costs involved recovery of Ruby and her whole family, such as associated medical costs, transport, and unseen expenses such as time off work for her parents and things to make life a little easier for a while.
