A massive milestone reached today - Ruby can stand up! The surgery last week went really well and she is making incredible progress. The hope is that Ruby will be able to go home within the next week to continue her recovery there. Kia kaha Ruby, you are amazing!
Unfortunately Ruby has to go for more surgery on her leg this week, an unexpected setback on her road to recovery. Hi everyone, Ruby is doing so well, making progress every day. Today she was up and in a wheelchair, going for a small trip up to the hospital play room for a look around. The goal for this weekend is some normal clothes and a wheelchair walk down to the lake for some fresh air. The Krishnan family have again asked that we pass on their heartfelt thanks for all the love and support they have received. It is truly a blessing. We'll update again soon. xx Maree
