Providing health screening, promotion, and education as well as establishing a clean water supply for rural Fiji villages!
Auckland
The aim of the Fiji Village Project is to bring together a small group of future health professionals from Australia and New Zealand in order to provide health care and aid in rural Fiji. I will be running the Auckland Half Marathon (21 kms please donate) in order to create awareness and fundraise for our project!
Medical, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing students will travel to Fiji over December and January 2019 to provide health screening, promotion, and education as well as establishing a clean water supply for rural Fiji villages. We will also get the opportunity to spend some time in the hospitals and complete kids workshops.
I feel so honoured and excited that I have been asked to take part in this adventure! Please help me support Fiji by donating and sponsoring me to run the half marathon!
As a second year nursing student, I have a passion for primary health prevention and providing aid. I want to fundraise in order to take a large quantity of quality supplies for the villages of Fiji.
All funds raised will be used exclusively for medical supplies and water tanks, so you can rest assured it won't be going towards any cocktails on the beach.
Every donation counts, even just a donation of $5 would be amazing!
