In true Henry style, we're embracing every moment and are doing various running events in order to raise money for the Hospice in his honour

West Coast

On the 4th of January this year the world lost a wonderful individual in our great friend Henry Cotton. This big hearted, gregarious, entertaining, amazing ginger haired human lost a battle with cancer that he had been fighting for the past couple of years.

Henry was truly one of life’s great people; he embraced every single moment and lived life to the absolute fullest - the world is a less shiny orange place without him and we will miss him dearly.

Towards the end of Henry’s life, the Buller West Coast Hospice Trust provided amazing palliative care services that allowed him to spend his last weeks at home surrounded by his family, his wonderful girlfriend, his friends, and his pup. In honour of Henry’s inspiring way of embracing all that life has to offer, we’ve taken a collective deep breath and signed up for running events of various distances.

It’s an absolute tragedy to lose someone so full of life, and we hope that we can raise some money to help support other people and families who are going through something similar.

All donations will be paid to the Buller West Coast Hospice Trust
