I thank everyone who donated to help me with my precious little girl Nina. Sadly as stated in my last update she is no longer walking along side us physically but I’m sure she is in spirit. I hope no one has any issue with me using the donation money to pay for her vet bills. Without your help she would have not got the help she needed to determine her illness. I thank you once again.
After Been at work with me which she loved doing from her rides on the tractor to sitting in the digger to swimming in the silt ponds she did it all these last couple of days. We returned home on Friday afternoon to walk around our lifestyle block and later that night to do what she loved most possum hunting.
Morning came and Nina’s condition had worsened it was regrettably that time. The vet came and sedated Nina first then put her to sleep forever.
I loved my little girl with all my heart, she was my best friend, my companion. She brought so much joy to children’s lives through her tenderness and playful manner. I myself as will so many others never forget you. RIP Nina my precious beautiful girl, you were taken from our lives far to early. We will always love you.
Last night I picked up Nina from hospital for the third time. I’d admitted her on Tuesday night as her heart was muffled again which is a telltale sign her pericardial sack was full of fluid again. They drained another 750mls this time. But when I picked her up Wednesday afternoon the vet had some more bad news. She has a clot in her now inflamed heart which can shift at anytime which could be fatal. We are making the most of our time with Nina now as who knows how long she has. I thank every one who has helped us so much without your generosity Nina would not be here. Much love.
