The Pitbulls of Bali are some of the most abused in the world

In Bali, owning a 'western breed' such as a Pitbull is considered a status symbol. The breed is extremely human-oriented - they LIVE for their humans and are needy lovebugs. In bali, they are a commodity - most are kept in cages in backyards.

Karin provides a safehaven

BUT her rent is due. Usually by this time of the year, she has raised the needed funds, but understandably, Covid has stunted this and it is the dogs that suffer.

Karin is at risk of closing. This would be terrible for the Bali dogs. They would have NO WHERE to go. Karin is their last resort. Every cent raised funds the rescue of dogs in need and saves them from a life of misery.

Here’s what we’re doing about it

We want to raise the funds so that Karin can remain operating for another year. Her rent is 8.5k which houses over 30 Pitbulls at any one time.

Any money raised above this amount will go towards feeding these babies and covering their Vet care. She also is wanting to build Bali’s first pitbulls sanctury.
