Save Our Pool

The Amberley Community Pool Society Inc. is a community group that has been established to save our local Amberley pool.

A 2008 report by a swimming pool expert stated that our pool was only likely to last a few more years before something major needed replacing. The problem is that this work would require a building consent which would mean a whole bunch of non-compliance issues would have to be addressed. The cost of this work hasn’t been budgeted for and would most likely mean the pool would close.

We are looking to take action now… and raise enough money to save our pool and build a indoor heated pool facility that would be able to be used all year round.
