Fundraising to send a team of six children (and two coaches) to represent NZ in the First Lego League World Championships in Houston.
International
We are a group of young problem-solvers (ages 8-15years) who have won the NZ First Lego League (FLL) Championships and would like to represent NZ on the World stage. The FLL involves two main aspects: robotics and a science project. As the topic this year was the Water Cycle, our team chose to look at waste water and sustainability. For the science project, we focused on the Fatberg issue within NZ household drains. We reviewed the current solutions to the disposal of fat for efficacy but also came up with a different, potential solution - hopefully, to be presented in Houston! This is the second time we have won the NZ FLL but the first time we will have the opportunity to compete at the World Championships. It would be great if you could help us get there to put forward the 'green' ethos of NZ.
Used raised will be used to pay for registration, flights and accommodation for the duration of the World Championship competition. Any surplus to fund future competitions and the short fall will be paid by team member and coach
Hey Doug Only just seen this. How did you know that we had a givealittle page? Hope Nepal is going well. Regards Cheryl
