Fundraising for a replacement generator that was stolen
Northland
My mother-in-law in her 70’s had her generator stolen in the space of 20 minutes while she was in town shopping. She lives rurally in Kaitaia and is not on the power grid so this is her only source of electricity. My father-in-law is in aged care in Kaikohe due to a stroke so she is on her own.
She can not afford to buy a replacement being on superannuation so any donation, big or small, will help ease the burden and literally get the lights turned back on.
Iri has always given back to the community and attends the local Seventh Day Adventist church. She has a heart of gold and would help anyone. Scumbag, lowlifes have put her in an even more vulnerable position, I don’t see them having a heart at all and returning the generator.
The beneficiary is my mother-in-law for last 29 years
A replacement generator and secure locking so it doesn’t get stolen again -
Updated goal amount 16 August 2020
The cost of generator and option to secure it (to prevent theft again) has been confirmed at $2,000 so have reduced the goal amount accordingly.
Nearly there! So much love for everyone who has donated, I am speechless 🥰
