Helping Colin & Denise Davis recover from their horrific livestock loss. Good, genuine farming people that have had an awful experience.
Hawke's Bay
Colin & Denise Davis were unfortunate enough to lose 36 of their sheep through a savage attack by dogs at the Hawkes Bay Equestrian Park.
There were also another 13 with injuries.
Farming is a tough enough job at the best of times, but to have something as heartbreaking as finding your well cared for stock mauled & having to clean up the mess and see the horror in the sheeps eyes is not something they will forget.
I wanted to put together a give a little page as Colin and Denise are genuine, good hardworking people that have taken a huge hit with such a loss.
I feel its the Kiwi way, and especially with rural people to just help each other out.
I also had a lof of people offering help/asking what could be done.
Even a small donation will help to hopefully go towards replacing some of their lost stock.
I met Denise and Colin through the Equestrian park under the bleak circumstances of us both having stock killed.
It was heartbreaking to see their devasted looks of shock and horror at what confronted them.
To replace the sheep lost by the dog attacks at the equestrian park and cover any vet costs.
