Shoebox Christmas works with low decile schools, women's refuge centres, and other community organisations to deliver Christmas presents to kids who might otherwise be going without at Christmas time. Last year in Wellington alone we delivered Christmas presents to 3600 kids in Wellington alone. This year Wellington, Auckland, and Taranaki Shoebox Christmas projects are working together to help make sure every kiwi kid has the choice Christmas they deserve.

I started the Wellington Shoebox Christmas project three years ago, and am working closely with Sam from the Auckland project, and Lisa from the Taranaki project this year.

Use of funds

Operational costs, website/domain hosting, Facebook advertising, petrol, etc. There's not a lot of overhead - because we're essentially a team operation. But there are enough expenses that they all add up.
