Norlan was admitted to hospital for Malaria and was hostage until the hospital was sued this week. The bill now needs to be paid.
Wellington
Recently my friend Peter Sifuna, got the news that his oldest daughter, Norlan had been admitted to hospital in his hometown of Bungoma in Kenya. She had a dose of Malaria, so he made the 575km journey home to be with her. She has now been officially discharged, however because Peter and his family are unable to pay the bill, Norlan is unable to leave the hospital.
The original hospital bill was the equivalent of about 4 months of Peter's salary of about $120.00 a month.
After doing research and sending it through to Peter he has now had a Lawyer sue the hospital and got Norlan released from Hospital. Now I am just asking for your help to pay the bill. It is a final cost of $2500 US dollars.
I'm involved because I have come to know Peter and his family really well over the last few months and just want to help them.
All money donated will go via me to Western Union to Peter in Kenya to pay the hospital bill and help the family. Their plight has really made me want to help.
