Joanne will come to the end of her outpatient care with Rehab Plus in December and will need to begin private Speech and Language therapy in order to continue her progress. She has a long way to go in order to recover her speech to a professional level again. At this stage she has acquired most of the speech sounds used in English and is developing her ability to combine them into words. She is also working hard on regaining her written language which has also been badly affected by her Aphasia. Any money donated will be used only for this purpose and as Henry indicated anything left over will be donated to the Stroke Foundation who have been very supportive.Joanne will come to the end of her outpatient care with Rehab Plus in December and will need to begin private Speech and Language therapy in order to continue her progress.
