Realizing the rights of refugees in Cameroon
International
The protection and welfare of refugees and asylum seekers in Cameroon is a huge humanitarian and human rights challenge. The situation of the over 180.000 refugees in Cameroon from over 26 countries the world over cannot be left in the hands of the Cameroon government alone. It is the duty of light-minded persons all over the world especially the people of New Zealand to show solidarity with the sufferings of this vulnerable group of persons who have fled their countries due to war and other conflicts.
The world is a global village. What happens in one part of the world affects the whole world. Cameroon is host to over 180.000 refugees and asylum seekers from over 26 countries. Their rights as citizens of this world need urgent attention: health, sanitation , medication and feeding. From a humanitarian perspective, I wish to mobilize some funding on your platform and send to the refugee welfare association in Cameroon to assist these vulnerable group of persons
The money received will be channeled to Refugees Welfare Association (REWAC) Cameroon through their bank account for the purchase of essential medication, food, and the provision of pipe-borne water in some refugee camps in the East Region of Cameroon.
