Christmas Appeal for Food and Christmas Gifts for Children

This year, with the continued cost of living crisis we are seeing, continued demand for welfare is at a very high level.

Our Christmas wish is that everyone receives some form of Christmas Cheer - whether is be one toy or simply an ice cream.

We run a Christmas Toy Grotto annually, and a hamper program for Christmas. Demand is high, our food stock is very low. Any donation now will go towards the cost of food for hampers- or for our normal Christmas voucher project which is around $20000. In this environment, grants and donations are light- hence why I am undertaking this Give-a-Little page. There will also be high demand after Christmas for food. All donations will be greatly appreciated. This Christmas program is run over and above our normal day to day operations, all funds donated are applied towards the Christmas program.

About us

Our members and volunteers make regular visits and give assistance to needy individuals and families, the elderly, the sick, or the homeless in our local communities. We operate a food bank and provide clothing, furniture and bedding.

Use of funds

Food for Christmas Hampers & Gifts for Christmas for Children - our aim is to have 1 gift per child & 1 stocking filler per child. The Christmas Grotto will be held the 1st weekend in Dec & Xmas hampers will be delivered over the fortnight before Xmas.
