Help us finish the film Spring Interlude in time for the New Zealand International Film Festival premiere!
Canterbury
About 2 years ago we made a feature film in Christchurch called Spring Interlude. We have been editing and polishing it since, and waiting for an opportunity to premiere it. Now the New Zealand International Film Festival has accepted the film and the world premiere will be in Christchurch this August!
However -we will need some help to get it over the line. Since the film is being made completely independently, we need to raise some money for the sound mix and colour grade.
Here are some details about the film:
LOGLINE
As two girls go from being friends to maybe something more, one of them encounters a stranger who needs a place to stay the night.
DETAILS
Spring Interlude is a deceptively simple 3-scene, 3-character queer film shot in a cinema verite style. It is a very personal exploration and an examination of the lives of three ordinary characters. It is a representation of living in Christchurch at a very specific time, through an organic and actor-centric approach. Made entirely independently and locally in Christchurch, the existence of this film is a true testament to the resourcefulness of our small but dedicated filmmaking community.
Please put your name when you donate so that we can credit you in the film!
The money will be spent on the sound mix and colour grading -to get the film cinema-ready. The more we raise, the higher level of polish we will be able to give the film. The money will go directly to cover labour costs towards this.
TARGET REACHED!!! 18 July 2019
We reached our target! Thank you thank you thank you! And with 6 days to go! This was the bare minimum we had to raise, from here on any additional money will be used to get the film finished to a more polished level!
Please enjoy the trailer of the film!
We love you all!
