Bay of Plenty

It is with great excitement that we announce to our Whanau, friends, neighbours/community that we’re taking our whole school to Wellington in Term 2. We are leaving by bus on the 22nd of May and returning on the 26th of May 2018.

We’ll be visiting Te Papa Museum, Waiouru Army Museum, Weta Studios, The Bee Hive and the Transport Museum at Paraparaumu. We’re even going to the movies!

The purpose of our trip is to create awareness of, and sacrifices the ANZAC’s, 28th Maori Battalion and the significance of Gallipoli. We are a Decile 2 School of 44 students and we want to give our children a meaningful learning experience they’ll never forget.

We are from a small rural community where fundraising can be difficult. Our fundraising efforts for this trip are ongoing and we would so love your support whether big or small to help ease the financial pressures. Your contributions will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!
