My fight against lung cancer continues and the need for the drug pemetrexed has become critical to my survival only if i get the funding.

The Drug pemetrexed is basically life and death for me.Currently their is no funding for this medication by the DHB and therefore i will have to try and raise the funds needed independently.As a pensioner this is obviously beyond my means financially to obtain currently.For the last fifteen months i have received no treatment whatsoever,and ironically when a drug does appear that would give me very much a fighting chance to extend my life,it is sadly not funded that drug being pemetrexed.The cancer with which i was diagnosed with in my right lung five years ago is continuing to spread to other parts of my body,something that his new drug would really help slow.Without this drug their is no chance of me surviving it.

Use of funds

The funds that might be raised would go straight to the sole providing of the medication needed.The pricing of the medication is as follows.The cost per vial $800.00,two vials every three weeks$1,600.00.This is to show the expense that the course of medication needed.
