Sazada is still struggling with her severe injury in the hospital leaving her with permanant lower body disability
Canterbury
We have started a Givealittle page to help raise funds for Sazada Akhter, who is one of the most seriously injured victims of the Christchurch mosque attacks.
Sazada was shot in her chest and abdomen on March 15. She has a severe injury in her spinal cord causing her a permanent disability and can no longer either move or feel the lower half of her body and part from her abdomen. This permanent disability will never allow her to walk again. She is the only victim still in Christchurch Hospital and she struggles with burning pains in her stomach and back, which keeps her awake crying at night. She is expected to stay longer in the hospital. Please see the report in the image gallery
Her husband, Mohamed Mashud, who came to New Zealand in 2013 as a skilled migrant has been staying by her side since the attacks and hasn’t been able to return back to work yet since 2 months.
Being paralysed, she needs to live in an accessible house modified to fit her needs. So it will really be very kind to support them in buying their house that satisfies her needs
Please follow this link for more information
Thank you
I am just trying supporting them by putting the campaign online to open the door for the good people to help
The funds will be used in buying an accessible house that satisfies Sazada needs
