Stephs Road to Recovery

$6,090 donated
Given by 135 generous donors in around 11 months

A tragic car accident left Stephanie in ICU with critical injuries. Help support her thru her road to recovery.

Manawatu / Whanganui

Stephanie touched many lives. She gave her time freely to help teach children to ride ponies ,spending countless hours at the local pony club as a volunteer coach, and at the local riding school. She is a loved student at the local High School and involved in the local community activities.

Stephanie always had time to help friends and family. She has the ability to put little ones at ease and give them the courage to do things they didn't think they could. She is inspirational, caring and loyal.

A moment in time meant her life was changed forever. She lost her Mum and has ended up in Wellington Hospital in the ICU ward with critical injuries. She needs our help to support her now and in the future.

Her road to recovery is a long road and there is no idea when she will return to her life and job. Donations for not only now but also for whatever Stephanie needs in the coming weeks or months are appreciated. Stephanie always gave so its our time to show her how much we appreciate what she did and give to her. Lets make this road easier for her and the family. All money received will be used to help support Stephanie and to meet her future needs.

I am fortunate to be friends with Stephanie. For someone so young she touched many lives and inspired children to believe in themselves. She gave her time freely and its time for us to show her how much we appreciated this and help her recover from this tragedy.

Your Donation to Stephanie and Family  22 February 2017

To say that our family were incredibly humbled and touched by everyone’s generosity would be an under-statement. To know that we were in people’s thoughts and that so many of you cared for and loved Stephanie gave us the much needed strength to help get through each day.

The money collected from this givealittle page was originally intended to be used to assist Steph during her recovery. As our beloved Steph is no longer with us, we have thought long and hard about where this money could best be used. The devastating loss of both Steph and our Mum/Wife Linda has resulted in unforeseen costs in travel, loss of income and funeral related expenses. The majority of funds raised will be put towards covering these costs. In addition, Steph’s number one love in life was horses. With this in mind, we would like to use some the money raised to assist up-and-coming young riders achieve their dreams. We are in discussion with the club's that Steph belonged to and have sought their advice on how this money would best be spent. Whether it be by way of a trophy, the purchase of equipment, assisting with the payment of fees, etc.

As there has been a change in what we intend on using this money for, we need to confirm that you are agreeable for your donation to be used in this manner.

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity.

Warmest Regards,

The Budding Family
