Stroke with Left Hemiplegia and Facial Nerve Palsy

We, the friends of Felarca family would like to ask a little amount to help raise funds for their mom who is still admitted in Wanganui hospital.

Crispina (68 y.o) with her husband came on September 29, 2018 to visit their sons here in New Zealand. On October 3, 2018, she experienced numbness on her left limbs accompanied with slurred speech. The family rushed her to the hospital and was diagnosed with Transient Ischemic Attack; however, there were recurrence with the symptoms and additional investigations were done. According to the doctors, she suffered from stuttering stroke with Left sided hemiplegia and facial nerve palsy.

Being on a tourist visa, the family has to pay all the hospital bills including her rehabilitation after her medical treatment. Currently, nanay Crispina is on her 7th day in the hospital and the costs is already high. We, and other family friends have fundraised among our small community here in Taranaki and Wanganui; however, it is still not enough with the mounting bills and further rehab expenses. Thus, we created this page to ask for any amount you will be able to give to help the family on their financial burden.
