Taranaki
It's an exciting time to be in New Plymouth when the Symposium is on.
5 international artists, 22 national artists - all working on the foreshore producing amazing sculptures from local andesite.
That's the Te Kupenga Biennial International Stone Sculpture Symposium!
Over 40,000 people visit the Symposium and watch the artist's progress over 3 weeks, culminating in a 1 week exhibition and Auction where the artists are rewarded for their hard work.
This year we are setting up a 'Symposium Supporters club' to help raise funds to run the event.
Please join our Supporters Club, with a $250 donation.
