Raising money to help pay the bills while caring for wife/mum with Stage 4 Melanoma
Auckland
Please help to relieve some financial pressure for this beautiful family while they care for their wonderful wife/mum as she battles Stage 4 Melanoma.
Amy is a friend to so many and loved by all who are lucky enough to know her. Most importantly, she is a devoted mum to two beautiful girls Emma (16) and Ruben (15) and wife to her ever loving husband Steve.
Amy is affectionately known as the life of every party, tells it how it is, first to help in any situation and sometimes hilariously inappropriate - a very special lady.
After 12 years of managing melanoma, it has returned, this time in her brain and spine. The effects have been devastating and immediate and sadly, there are no further treatment options available.
Home from hospital now, she is being cared for by her much loved family who are doing an amazing job of tending to her every need. Steve has used all his leave over the past couple of months so is now on leave without pay.
With no income coming in and bills and mortgage to pay, we are hoping to be able to raise some much-needed funds to alleviate any financial pressures and support them through this journey, as well as provide some financial security for her family going forward. That way Amy and her family can focus on the important stuff - time together and her care!
Any contribution big or small is gratefully received. You can also help by sharing this link to spread the word about Amy’s plight.
Thank you so much!

It is with the heaviest of hearts - in fact a broken heart that this update is to let you know thst Amy passed away peacefully this afternoon. It is hard to fathom that such a bright light can be extinguished, but apparently it ms true.
For me personally, Amy was one in a million, that friendship people read about in books, so for her family, I can’t imagine…..my sincerest love and condolences to Steve, Emma, Rueben, Pat, John Bettina, Mel and your families xx
