Seeking support for Jhufel's hospital care and rehabilitation in the Philippines
International
My husband Jhufel has already been in the hospital for six months since he was admitted in January 2021 for brain hemorrhage.
Jhufel underwent different medical and surgical procedures, from CT-scans to MRIs, from intubation to tracheostomy, from open brain surgery to VP shunt placement, and from many other medical interventions. But he is staying strong.
He is currently recovering in Dunedin Hospital, awaiting his rehabilitation. Medically, he is stable, though unable to walk and to talk because of the tracheostomy tube that he has on his throat.
Because of his visitor visa status, he is not eligible for longer residential care, and so the hospital has decided to send him back to the Philippines.
I am creating this page to ask your generous hearts to help and support my husband's return to the Philippines and his continued recovery and rehabilitation there. I will appreciate whatever you can give for this cause. Thank you, and may God bless you.

I am the wife of Jhufel who has been married with him for 20 years.
Jhufel's continued hospital care and rehabilitation in the Philippines. If he will be repatriated, it will hopefully be funded by the hospital. The fund is to be used for his continued hospitalization and care in the Philippines as he still has his tracheostomy on his throat and peg on his stomach.
Medical Assistance for Jhufel 7 December 2021
Jhufel's brother, Darwin, came to visit him at our house. It's been two years that they haven't seen each other. As per Jhufel's occupational therapist, this visit is good for Jhufel's recovery, as it will make him get motivated to become better.
Jhufel's vital signs have been stable since he came home 3 months ago. Thank God. But he is now due for general checkup and for his tracheostomy tube to be changed. He needs to be hospitalized for these procedures. Since these procedures cost, I am once again knocking on your generous hearts to give what you can to help. Thank you, and may God bless you.
