Support Jay Xuan getting to 2024 Badminton World Junior Championships
Christchurch, Canterbury
I'm Jay Xuan, 15 years old, born and bred in Christchurch. I'm so honoured to be selected to represent New Zealand at the 2024 Badminton World Junior Championships.
Unfortunately, Badminton is a self-funded sport in New Zealand. It will cost each player of the team about $7,000 for flights, transport, accommodation, food, uniform, plus extra WJC training in Auckland for players who live outside of Auckland.
I would be really grateful for your support to help me realise my dreams.
Thank you to my family and friends for all your support throughout the years. I hope that I live up to your expectations and best wishes.
I'm Jay Xuan's mama.
Funds raised will go towards Jay Xuan's 2024 Badminton World Junior Championships costs (flights, transport, accomodation, food, uniform, extra WJC training in Auckland) and any balance will go towards badminton training.
WJC! 4 October 2024
Thank you to all our families and friends for being so generous and kind, donating and supporting Jay Xuan. It's been so heartwarming for our family.
Jay Xuan had a 28 ish hour transit from Christchurch to Nanchang last Friday and Saturday.
