This is a fundraiser to support John Allen of Whitianga to represent the Coromandel Peninsula community at a think-tank meeting in Nelson.

People all over New Zealand are increasingly opposed to aerial poisoning. Even the Department of Conservation's own research shows a growing majority ( now 61%) find aerial poisoning unacceptable. Now academics are challenging the foundation concepts of "Predator Free New Zealand." And it is brutally inhumane as well in my opintion, but exceptions to the Animal Welfare Act render it "legal". Many things are "legal" but totally unethical, and I believe aerial poisoning fits into that category.

John Allen from Whitianga has given a lot to the Coromandel campaign against 1080. Let's support John to attend a campaign think-tank in Nelson on 11-12th November. All donors will receive a copy of John's report. Many thanks for your donation, it all helps.
We are raising some money to support John's travel costs to attend a think-tank gathering in Nelson, then report back to the Coromandel community who are opposed to aerial poisoning.
The funds will be used for travel costs of a return trip to Nelson and back to Coromandel.
