We are raising surgery funds for a friend who has worked in the queer community for years. Help us reach our goal and support them.

This is a GiveALittle fund to raise money for my friend - J - who is about to undergo some privately funded top surgery. This life-affirming surgery will go above and beyond in improving J's mental health and helping them feel comfortable and free in their body. With your help we can ensure J has access to this surgery and can begin an exciting new chapter in their life.

Our goal is to raise $8,000 NZD. All money will be used to fund the surgery, and any extra funds raised will be donated to OuterSpaces, a rainbow youth charity based in New Zealand. Anything you are able to give will be gratefully appreciated.

Kia ora koutou,

Thanks to a private donor who wishes to remain anonymous, I have now managed to raise most of the money I need for my surgery. This means I'm lowering my GiveALittle goal by $2000, from $8000 to $6000.

I'm so humbled by the support I've received so far, and so thankful to everyone who has already donated. It's hard to express it in words.
