Help Zoe, a dedicated teacher battling non-Hodgkin lymphoma, maintain her dignity and confidence.
Bay Of Plenty, Whakatane District
Since being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma earlier this year, Zoe has dealt with this news with grace and dignity. She has continued to work full time as a primary school teacher while undergoing chemotherapy. The physical and emotional toll of her treatment is immense and the financial strain is adding to her challenges.
While cancer treatment expenses are covered, the day to day costs of living such as bills and groceries are quickly adding up. Zoe's sick leave entitlement is also running low and soon she will be on unpaid leave from work whilst undergoing chemotherapy. During this time, bills and living costs will be piling up.
If you know Zoe, you will know she has had long, beautiful and healthy blonde hair her entire life. Chemotherapy induced hair loss can significantly impact one's sense of identity and profoundly affects cancer survivors. Zoe hopes that a beautiful and natural looking wig will help her regain some confidence, normalcy and dignity.
