My brother and I will be visiting Nepal and trekking to Everest Base Camp in December 2016. We have this incredible opportunity and see it as an opportunity to help Nepal following the terrible earthquake in 2015. 75% of all the money raised will be donated to the Himalayan Foundation (http://himalayantrust.org/), and the other 25% will be taken with us to Nepal to be given directly to the community when the opportunity arises. The Himalayan Trust was founded in 1960 by Sir Edmund Hillary, and ever since then we have been working in Nepal to help the people of the Everest region with health, education and general wellbeing. We greatly appreciate any donations!

We feel involved in this cause as we will be visiting Nepal later in the year. We have the opportunity to experience this amazing place and share it with the local people. Therefore, we see this as a perfect opportunity to fundraise for Nepal. The Himalayan Trust is a foundation that we are confident will make a difference.
