Please help Richard & Tracey have quality time together, in their own home, for as long as they need support.
Wellington
Richard has just recently endured a frontal lobal tumor removal - brain surgery. From out of the blue, he had a seizure, which was diagnosed as a tumor. The tumor was successfully removed however, Richard will now undergo chemo and radiation treatment, as well as inevitable further surgeries. There is no cure for the cancer he has and the prognosis is not great. Richard is self-employed and therefore can no longer earn an income. Very sadly, his wife Tracey has just been made redundant. As with most of us in life, Richard & Tracey have family to support, a mortgage and bills to pay.
At this incredibly difficult time, the last thing we want them to have to consider is selling and moving from their home. Richard needs stability and familiarity and Tracey needs to remain in an environment where she can function as normally as possible, whilst caring for Richard 24/7.
Richard will need as much financial support as possible and there are many wonderful people in his life who have advocated for a Give A Little page so they can donate and support Richard and Tracey.
I am involved because I am a life long friend of Richard's. This is a horrible situation, which no-one deserves to endure. Richard's inability to work coupled with Tracey's recent redundancy means they are left with no source of income. I believe in times of need, we can all "give a little" to make a HUGE difference. Instead of gifts and flowers, a financial contribution will have such a bigger, positive impact for them, as they endure this situation.
