Supporting Chrissi to beat cancer.

For all those of you that know Chrissi Roper and for all the people that don’t, our beautiful, talented, generous, fun loving and caring friend has been diagnosed with cancer.

The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of doctors appointments, tests and biopsies which have all confirmed the worst news. Chrissi has been suffering from breathing and chest difficulties for the past few months has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma. She has a large 14cm tumour on her chest and another tumour in her lung. What we do know is that this is a very aggressive form of cancer and she requires intensive chemo therapy treatment which she has just started.

It was only 2 weeks ago that Chrissi was still living her life to the fullest but her world has now been turned upside down. Chrissi who was suffering breathing difficulties visited the doctor several times who presumed it was asthma. Chrissi then changed doctors and got a second opinion. So please remember to listen to your body as you know it best and visit the doctors and never be complacent with your own health.

This page has been set up so that friends, family and even kind strangers from near and far can help Chrissi at this difficult time. Chrissi is unable to work and we hope that we can unburden her financially and help cover the costs of rent, travel, accomodation expenses as well as helping to cover the costs of anything else Chrissi needs/wants or requires that will help her to get through.
