Please help Kit fight cancer - all proceeds will be going to Kit, her husband Scott and baby Liam.

Our good friend Kit has been given devastating news, in the form of stage 4b cervical cancer (small cell cancer). It is an incredibly aggressive cancer that has grown even in the short time since original diagnosis.
Small cell cancer of the cervix is a type of neuroendocrine cancer. These are cancers that develop in the hormone producing cells of the neuroendocrine system. Around 3 out of 100 cervical cancers (3%) are this type. Small cell cancers tend to grow quickly. They are more likely to spread to the lymph nodes or other areas of the body compared to the more common types of cervical cancer.
Kit is a beautiful human, married to her lovely hubby Scott and raising her 4 month old gorgeous dude Liam.
This diagnosis seems so unfair and we all want to ensure Kit has every opportunity to fight this bastard of a disease!
Due to the aggressive nature of this cancer Kit has started intensive chemo already. We have set this fundraiser up for a month to try and gather as much funds as possible to support Kit and her family as quickly as possible.
Kit initially requested we not set up a givealittle, as she only wanted one for Liam if she wasn’t going to make it, however now that her prognosis has worsened, and she needs to give it everything she’s got to beat cancer she’s agreed to us setting this up.
And if you need anymore reason or rationale for donating, our mate Shoey is doing what is known as ‘the toughest 5 day mountain running race in the world’ in the Welsh mountains from 20-24 May. Shoey is running this race on behalf of Kit “the gutsiest person we know”.

Please support Kit, Scott and Liam xx
Scott and his wife Kit are good friends of ours. Kit has been diagnosed with stage 4b cervical cancer. We want to do everything we can to help our friends out.
All funds will be going to Kit and her family to help cover costs for immunotherapy treatment which is not funded for the type of cancer Kit has and to ensure the family has all the support they need to get through this horrible time.
Thank you from Kit and Scott! 29 May 2019
With only 2 days until this page closes Kit and Scott wanted to say a massive thank you to all the friends, family, friends of friends, and strangers from all over the world. The number of mums (and in particular mums with sons and even mums with sons named Liam!) that donated has blown them (and us) away. The generosity of everyone is far far greater than we’d anticipated, and all of that love has truly helped Kit in her fight.
Kit has now had two rounds of chemo, with the second one being that little bit harder and slower to bounce back from. Kit’s doctors have given her a plan that includes up to 6 rounds of chemo in total so we know in the coming weeks things will get tougher with each round. But Kit is a fighter, she is one of the strongest, most determined and stoic people we know. She is putting her all into beating this thing!
We are yet to find out if the chemo is working but we are all in positive spirits, with Kit feeling a bit better than she was before chemo started, with some of the symptoms reducing.
In the mean time Kit is smashing through a bucket list, making sure she values every moment she has - we’ve attached some photos from her bucket-list in the gallery. She has reduced her pain meds which were making her incredibly sleepy, instead prioritising her baby over her own pain and spending as much quality time as she can with him.
The funds raised here have already supported Kit, Scott and Liam. They have contributed to the costs of Kit’s private specialist appointments that are investigating possible unfunded treatments with options including unfunded radiation, chemo and immunotherapy treatment. Depending on which treatments she gets they are looking at a potential bill of over a whopping 100k.
Thank you again to everyone that has donated. It means the world to Kit and Scott, and all her family and friends xx
