Please pledge your support for the Henry family as Jane undergoes chemotherapy in the coming months
Canterbury
Hi everyone - please find below a message from Jane and Paul and their families.
"We collectively want to thank everyone for the contributions that you have made in so many ways. These contributions have made life just that little bit easier when so many things have been just so tough. The meals that people have brought around, people who have cleaned the house, other who have looked after the children and those who have contributed financially, thank you all so much.
As many of you are aware, Jane's chemo did not work. This left us looking at a pretty grim picture.
Through a lot of research and assistance from people all over the world, Jane is to go to Bangkok for a five week treatment at a private Cancer Clinic.
Those of you who made financial contributions will be pleased to know that your combined efforts are going towards helping pay for treatment at that clinic. We have great hopes for the work that is carried out there.
Jane's latest set of results are far better than we had expected so are looking forward to seeing a real hit on Jane's cancer from the treatment at the clinic.
Again, our thanks to you all for all of your assistance and contributions.
Sincerely
Jane and Paul and their extended families"
=================================
In December 2015, our dear friend Jane was diagnosed with metastatic, bowel cancer. She has so far undergone two rounds of chemotherapy and is to continue to receive this treatment every three weeks for the next 6 months.
In response to the huge number of friends and family who have expressed their wish to help and support Jane, Paul, Olivia and Pippa through the coming months, it is with Jane and Paul's blessing that this page has been created.
All donations will support the family by allowing them to arrange such things as a house cleaner in the week she receives her chemo treatment; to order "My Food Bag" to simplify the dinner making process; to assist with any costs for possible future medical treatments; or simply buy anything that they might need to help them through this tough time.
Otherwise, for those interested in supporting Jane and Paul by supplying them with food/meal/baking: a shared, online "Food Calendar" (created especially for the Henry family) has been set up whereby you can register the days on which you are able to supply a meal/baking for the family. This will be especially useful for Jane and Paul as they will be able to see exactly what meals are being provided throughout the week (plus it will allow everyone else to see the gaps that need to be filled), and take away the worry of having to prepare and cook the evening meal.
This dedicated Food Calendar can be accessed by copying and pasting the following link into your browser:

However, if you feel uncomfortable with using this online Food Calendar, yet still wish to provide a meal, then please contact Melissa on 021329366 with details of what/when/how you wish to support and she will help facilitate this for you.
If you have any questions regarding any of the above or would like to offer support in any other way, then please contact Melissa at millsmcd@yahoo.com or 021329366.
Finally, many thanks for all the generous support and positive energy coming this way: Jane, Paul, Olivia and Pippa (as well as their families) have been overwhelmed with the kindness and love being offered and sincerely offer their thanks and appreciation to all.
This page has been set up on behalf of the huge number of friends and family who wish to support and help Jane and Paul as Jane undergoes chemotherapy over the coming months.
