Travis is a proud father of two awesome kids Layla and Cruz and loving husband of wife Charmaine. He loves hunting, fishing, riding his Harley and going to the gym. Has a great passion for his work around the world on oil rigs, where he has made life time friends.

As many of you will know Travis has been fighting the cancer battle for a few years now.

He has been through three 12-13 hour surgeries to remove tumours in his stomach (also having a kidney and many other organs removed), he has been an absolute legend to pull through these surgeries and painful recoveries.

After 2 new tumours being found on a scan in the first week of January 2024 he has been waiting for surgery.

Let’s say the New Zealand medical system has let us down!! After us continuously emailing, texting and ringing the contact numbers of oncologist’s, surgeons and medical teams we had, they admitted he had been lost in the system even though each time we got hold of someone they would say ‘someone will be in touch this week!’…

The last three months we have had multiple phone calls only, from different surgeons in Auckland (they have never met Travis in person) who kept passing us on to another surgical team.

To cut a long story short they have now told as they can’t do surgery because the cancer is now in his liver and we just have to wait (again) to hear about an appointment with follow up teams
