Wellington
Raising funds to bring Peter Lyndon-James, CEO and Founder of Shalom House in Perth WA, to NZ to deliver one or more Tough Love Seminars. With the increase of drug and alcohol addiction in this country, these Seminar are designed to equip families and individuals with the tools to help their loved ones beat addiction and bring them to a point of wanting to change. Peter speaks from experience, having overcome 26 years of drug and alcohol abuse, committing crimes and selling drugs, he has spent time in WA prisons, mental hospitals and other institutions. Now drug and addiction free for over 20 years, Peter is sharing his message of hope to people with addictions and their families. Shalom House receives no government funding and relies solely on donations and work projects. Peter is a full time volunteer at Shalom House.
In the event that we were not able to get Peter and Amanda to NZ (for whatever reason - lack of funds, change in circumstances) then we would donate whatever was raised to Shalom House for its operational purposes. Shalom House receives no government funding and relies solely on donations and work projects.
I'm assisting to raise funds to get Peter and his wife Amanda who run a drug rehabilitation Centre in Perth over to do seminars including going into schools and prisons to speak.
Peter is CEO, founder and full time volunteer at Shalom House in Perth WA. The funds raised through this page would cover travel and event costs to enable him to do a Tough Love Seminar in Wellington and then in other cities around NZ if sufficient funds are raised.
