Raising money to help support local families and individuals in need.

Auckland

Te Atatu Peninsula Community Food Bank aims to provide food assistance to those living in and around Te Atatu Peninsula. This community food bank has been in action since 2013 and operates on the wonderful generosity of those in the community who donate non-perishable and fresh food items, money and time to help meet a local need. During 2018 we distributed over 250 food packages and it looks like 2019 will far exceed this figure.

About us

CARE Waitakere offers a range of support services including affordable counselling for adults, children, and couples, free budgeting advice and advocacy, family support including social work and a foodbank for emergency food assistance.

Use of funds

Funds raised will go towards purchasing fresh food items to include in food packages

An important time to share. Although a pensioner I am blessed indeed, and acknowledge there are many of our Peninsula community in particular need at this time.
