Te te ao katoa i te atamira! Kiwi kid of Young Shakespeare Company 2019 needs your help!

Wellington

Alexander Southey was selected as part of the Young Shakespeare Company 2019 to travel to London for 3 weeks leading up to a performance on the Shakespeare Globe stage! With the cost of the initial cost of YSC being about $10,000, the aim is to raise $15,000. AJ has a long way to go yet, so any help is necessary!

Alexander (AJ) has been performing since year 9 at Kuranui College and has since honed his skills on and behind the stage, winning the National award; David Brockett Memorial Award for Backstage Achievement, and also picking up 1st place for his piece about his Koro, Mehaka Rewi who faught in the Maori Battalion in the second world war, at the regional Show Quest competition and performing at the University of Otago Sheliah Winn Shakespeare Festival, he was selected to be apart of the National Schools Shakespeare Production week in Dunedin.

As well as performing for the Young Shakespeare company next year he'll be studying at Te Kahui Auaha, so the idea of money will be looming.

Any help is deeply appreciated!
