Terminal Pancreatic Cancer: Keeping fighting daddy....

The life of a wonderful man.

No matter how old you are, losing a parent is never at the forefront of our thoughts, let alone becoming a reality in the trying times we are currently in at present.

August the 19th 2021, was the phone call that no one ever wants to receive. I regret to inform you that Mr Atomi Holani, my father, has been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that is spreading fast through his major organs. And although chemotherapy is an option, due to prior ailments, this will only accelerate his current rate of decline.

Keeping him comfortable and content at home surrounded by his loved ones will be the best medicine for him, and it truly is.

Accepting of his fate, which brings with it a heavy heart, albeit being a doting and humble husband, father, grandfather, friend and loyal member of his church and of his faith. Spending his time enveloped in his family’s love and embrace, both here in NZ and abroad, keeps him grounded and blessed till the time in which he will soon be walking among the divine.

Many a kind word has been spoken about my father, a sound ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on and the heartfelt condolences that have been pouring in in abundance, I cannot thank you enough from the bottom of our hearts.

Easing the financial burden of my fathers final rest is where I must also turn to givealittle to assist, leaving more time for my family to grieve and just be present with dad in his final days.

I am fully understanding that in these very difficult times, money is tight, everyone is going through their own tribulations. In saying that, if a donation of any amount is not possible, please save room for a prayer and a blessing for my father, Mr Atomi Holani and the Holani family.
