The Graham Allen Prize in Musical Theatre

$1,360 donated
Given by 10 generous donors in around 6 months

Raising funds in memory of Graham 'Gumby' Allen to assist music students at the University of Auckland.

Auckland

The Graham Allen Prize in Musical Theatre (GAPMT) was set up to honour the memory of the inimitable Graham 'Gumby' Allen who loved nothing more than singing his heart out in musical productions and could recite just about any part in any musical show. What better way to remember this lovely man than to help music students continue their musical careers enjoying the genre of musical theatre. The fundraising culminates in a wonderful show - to be held on October 19 this year - at the School of Music at the University of Auckland. During the show, the winners of the prize are announced. Previous recipients have gone on to great things - including major international music awards and doctoral study. Please help us raise funds to honour a lovely man and help out some outstanding music students.
