In July 2020, a group of determined and passionate people will represent New Zealand at the Quidditch World Cup in Richmond, Virginia.

The only problem is getting there...

There are approximately 13,989 kilometres between Wellington and Richmond and the Black Brooms squad intend to run, bike, row, or swim every centimetre of that distance with your support behind us. Whether it be per kilometre or in a lump sum, all donations are welcome as we try and hit $13,989 to help us get the team trained and ready for World Cup glory. For every dollar of donation we receive, a member of the squad will complete a kilometre. Any funds we receive over our intended goal shall be donated to charity.

You can track the progress of the team here: https://www.myvirtualmission.com/missions/34456/race-to-richmond-black-brooms-2020

And you can follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to receive updates on our progress!

Use of funds

All funds raised will be spent on logistical needs to support The Black Brooms making the journey to Virginia (flights, accomodation etc). We will be donating all funds in excess of the intended goal to charity
