The Retreat Scholarship Fund helps people that can’t fully fund their residential rehabilitation - your donation will help save a life.
Nationwide
At The Retreat our vision is that recovery will be available for all New Zealanders who
want help and that the stigma of addiction will be overcome. We help individuals and families sustain on-going recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs through a commitment to ensuring that everyone has access to treatment.
The Retreat Scholarship Fund was established to assist individuals that are unable to fully fund their residential rehabilitation programme - your donation will help save a life.
Read what one of our scholarship recipients said, “I called the retreat a broken woman. I had relapsed throughout lockdown and I could see no way out and I was scared for my life, I could not see the light of life through the darkness. I reached out to The Retreat. Thanks to The Retreat Scholarship fund I was able to receive immediate support and continue my recovery. The relief was immense, Tears of joy ensued. I cannot thank you enough for the gift of this scholarship. In my life I will strive to ‘Pay it forward” while living and breathing AA and the 12 steps. If it had not been for this gift, I would be still battling the demon of this disease of alcoholism. I would have lost my home and family. I believe I would be in hospital in a very serious condition or dead without it.” – Stella, alcoholic in recovery
