The Santa Project aims to bring joy to vulnerable children in Christchurch through giving them a gorgeous Christmas shoebox gift.
Canterbury
This project is about joy for kids.
It is about giving shoe boxes with Christmas gifts to vulnerable children in Christchurch. It's about bringing Christmas joy to precious kids.
Two years ago my daughter and I started the Santa Project. Every year support and interest is growing.
This is the 3rd year of the Santa Project. We started it so I could get my daughter and her friends involved in a community project that would make a difference.
Year 1, 20 boxes were gifted. Year 2, 120 boxes gifted. Year 3 and we are open to possibilities.
Once these gifts are ready for distribution a family member who is a social worker distributes these Christmas Shoebox to children in schools in.the east. Last year the children were so happy and grateful. It made a real difference.
Thanks for your support.
Note I will get an independent person of repute to review the receipts for purchase of gifts against money received. I want the Santa Project to have a high level of financial accountability and transparency.. Thanks
The goal is to generate funds to buy more gifts for the Santa Project shoeboxes which means we can spread more joy to these precious kids..
The Santa Project -audit 10 November 2018
Santa Project - audit - my fMBA colleague Peter Floris has kindly offered to audit the Santa Project finances. I am very grateful. Pete is a chartered accountant and senior manager of the New Zealand Merino Company Ltd. Pete's involvement brings a high level of transparency and credibility to the project. Huge thanks.
Remembering that it's all about bringing joy to precious kids here in Christchurch.
