    Hi friends, family and supporters!

I am currently 8 weeks post surgery and have had 4 cycles of chemotherapy over 6weeks.

I am feeling good and proving the medical board wrong. They gave me 6mths to live, said I would drop weight to 55kgs, be sick and tired. GUESS WHAT? They dont know me. I'm up 10kgs to 73kg in 6weeks. Working fulltime and training 3 days a week. I am under direct supervision from my 2 sponsors, Steven Cambell - Highly accredited PT from Les Mills and Inga von Benzon - Bowen Therapist from holistic health clinic in St Helliers. I have the prayer support from 8 churches around NZ and 2 in Qld. My nutrition is on point eating organic and clean. I am proving to be the exception to the rule and will beat this Cancer off with grit and determination. Thankyou to my support crew. I wouldn't be this well without you all. God bless. Xx

  • Medical device left inside me!     10 February 2019

2weeks post surgery I was still in severe pain. I went back to hospital. The Xray showed a foreign body left inside me by surgeons. I demanded surgery for it to be removed. What the removed was unspeakable. A medical Alexis (Expanding Device) the size of a bread and butter plate. Major medical misadventure! I was in theatre for 2hrs as it had been inside me for 2weeks and had to be resected out. All government bodies are involved as it's the first of this kind to ever happen in NZ. 2 x major abdominal surgeries in the course of 3 weeks. 13kgs lost in weight. Not to mention a delay in Chemotherapy treatment to shrink the 6 x liver tumours.

  • Cancer Diagnosed late Nov 2018     10 February 2019

I was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer and mets in the liver late November 2018. The tumour was in my sigmoid colon. It had fully obstructed my bowel. I had no prior symptoms. I got a sore tummy Friday night and by Sunday night I was in hospital. The surgeons performed emergency surgery and put a stent inside the tumour to allow me to pass stools and wind. I was sent home the next day to wait for Chemotherapy on Cancer.
