To be able to enjoy having and participating in family fun activities
Northland
Our moko Phoeknix was unable to walk at birth.
Finally after a lifetime of doctors appointments for our whānau, at the beginning of 2020 we were given the diagnosis of Spinocerebellar Ataxia which means that Phoeknix has poor coordination of hands, speech and eye movements, therefore unable to walk unaided.
We are hoping to be able to fund as much as we can towards a Trike for Phoeknix but are also asking for assistance to make this happen for Phoeknix faster. With summer approaching we would love for Phoeknix to have the ability to join us on our whānau bike rides and hikois around town, to parks and local beaches. Giving Phoeknix the gift of unassisted movement would open her up to a whole world that is normal to most but unknown to her.
This would mean so much for her and us as a whānau to all be one not split.
I am Phoeknixs Nan who I am involved with in her every day life.
It will be spent on getting her a trike.
If we exceed the amount it will be spent on doing final touches to her trike and if it don’t go to plan what money is raised will be a blessing towards the end goal
Finale 25 July 2021
