Medical and basic food items is required to make a beautiful wife and mother comfortable in her final moments.
Auckland
Our work colleague left New Zealand to go back to Zimbabwe to care for his terminally ill mother. The situation in Zimbabwe is crippling for the residents with prices of basic food items increasing on a daily basis. Mrs Thomas requires daily medication but supplies are now getting increasingly harder to obtain.
A daily struggle of just sourcing food, water and petrol to keep them going day to day is mentally and physically tiring while caring for a loved one. On top of this now with COVID in Zimbabwe they experience huge queues to obtain food, masks and hand sanitizer is financially out of reach of the residents so everyone takes their chance not to get sick.
With borders now closed we are unable to source basic items for them from South Africa and there is no date when the borders will open.
We are asking for any donations so they can continue to purchase medical supplies and food to keep this beautiful mother and wife comfortable in her final moments.

Your generosity in the donations that have been received have been overwhelming to Adam and his family. This week they will be getting prices for the equivalent of Hospice Care for his mum so she is made comfortable for the time she has left.
