Running the length of NZ for my fathers in home care due to terminal cancer that has left him a paraplegic.
Nationwide
My 63 year old father now with terminal cancer and now a paraplegic due to the cancer
He lived a super healthy lifestyle marathons kitesurfing windsurfing hiking cycling and any outdoor activity possible he’s done all round good guy.
We also finished the coast to coast tandem race 2015 which is a awesome memory to share with him.
This horrible brutal disease is taking my fathers life and he needs specialised In-home care two people 3 times a day a evening care to move his body through out the night.
I am going to attempt to run the length of New Zealand - the Te Araroa Trail from Cape Reinga Lighthouse to the Bluff
in November in hopes of raising money to help with his care.
I’m deep in training for this and I feel this is a fitting task to honour his life and help out where I can.
