Raising awareness and funds to support ongoing treatment while allowing Annie to live life to the fullest
Wellington
Our Annie.
Sister/ daughter/ partner/ aunty/ friend/ dog mother/ godmother...
However you know her, you will have been touched by her warm generous heart, big bright eyes, contagious laugh and larger-than-life personality.
To me, Annie is my godmother and has been an enormous part of my life from the day I was born (she was there squeezing mums toes during labour), and this continues today despite being on opposite sides of the world.
As many of you know, in 2010 just a few months after undergoing a hysterectomy, Annie was diagnosed with breast cancer. Being too ill for breast surgery she underwent a lumpectomy followed by radiation therapy and went straight back to work. What a trooper.
Fast forward to 2019, Annie returned to hospital with an ache in her back, then during labour weekend a gut ache began which resulted in a colonoscopy and numerous scans to be performed. After 10 long months of investigations, a malignant mass was discovered behind her pancreas and much to our dismay, was confirmed as terminal.
This has come as a devastating shock to everyone that knows her, especially her partner John who has been an amazing pillar of support. This support has been reflected by Annie's entire family and friend network, and has been greatly appreciated.
Annie has chosen not to proceed with chemotherapy and elected not to find out her predicted life expectancy.
To help Annie and John navigate through this difficult and uncertain journey, this page has been created with the hope of relieving some financial pressure that comes with ongoing medications and treatment.
If you are able to contribute, we would be incredibly grateful for the support. If unable, please help spread awareness by sharing this page and educating yourselves and others. It all counts!
We love you Annie x

Part of Annie's daily regime is drinking Redox Signalling Molecules which is a reduction-oxidation reaction supplement that restores cells and comes at great expense as she has half a bottle per day. I will add a link for anyone interested in reading the science behind it.
