To get Emilee, Jayden and Wyatt’s life back

Keeping Emilee, Jayden and Wyatt in Auckland white she deals with the devastating aftermath of sudden passing and premature birth.

Nationwide

Two weeks ago on 27th November my youngest son Daniel passed away. He was 26 years old and was a proud dad to Jayden who is 18months and loving partner of the beautiful Emillee.

Emilee was 30 weeks and 5 days pregnant with their second son. The shock of finding Daniel sent her into early labour and she gave birth later that day by emergency Caesarean section to the baby. He weighed in at 3lb 4oz and they where transferred to Auckland the next day from Whangarei so the baby could be admitted to Auckland City NICU. Emillee named the baby Wyatt which means brave and strong as he’s a little fighter.

Emilee’s parents have put their lives and business on hold in Warkworth which is a huge financial and emotional strain for them.

Auckland City Hospital want to transfer Wyatt back up to Whangarei as he is well enough for their SCIBU now. This would mean Emilee would have to return to Whangarei to live in the house she found Daniel’s body without family or friends support. This is impossible for her after the devastating, traumatic and tragic events of that night.

To prevent this happening Emilee needs to fund a 4-6 week stay in Auckland which is extremely expensive and impossible for her and our families to fund as they were in financial dire straights to begin with.

The funds will be used to provide Emergency accommodation for Emilee, Jayden and her parents whilst Wyatt is in hospital and the associated costs with living away from home for a prolonged period of time.

Jayden has special dietary needs and all his food needs to be dairy, gluten and soy free which are expensive.

Some premature baby clothes for Wyatt.

The ultimate aim is for Emilee to relocate back to Auckland to be with her family and friends.

Thank you Emilee, Jayden, Wyatt, Liz Ken and Karen

Baby Wyatt   23 December 2019

We’re please to say that baby Wyatt is thriving and trying to feed for himself instead of being tube fed. He’s out of his incubator now and in a cot at the SCIBU.

Thank you for all your kind donations and messages if support.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Love Emilee, Jayden and Wyatt

This story is heart breaking. Emilee, I sense you are already a beautiful person but this experience may see you attain a level of strength and compassion that very few possess. For now you are allowed to cry. Cry until there are no more tears, knowing that eventually, things will get better. They have to. xx
