Please help Tommy's family get through this rough time while he fights off a nasty viral and secondary bacterial infection of the lungs.
Auckland
Tommy was diagnosed with Central Core Disease as an infant which has caused Hypotonia (diminished muscle tone) of his chest. Due to the weakness in his chest muscles a little bit of a cough/cold can use up his energy reserves quickly and cause serious respiratory complications.
Tommy had what started off as a common cold and quickly progressed into a chest infection which he was taken to hospital via ambulance due to breathing complications and soon admitted to Starship Paediatric Intensive Care Unit where he is now fighting off Bronchiolitis and a secondary bacterial infection of the lungs.
Unfortunately there is a chance this could become a common trend for Tommy if he gets ill in future.
Please help support his family through this rough time so they can be there to support him while he fights off this nasty illness.
I wanted to set up this Givealittle page to help Tommy's family get through this rough time and be there for him, as they are always there for others in need. Now their little boy is fighting to get through a nasty Virus and wanted to pay it forward so his parents can continue to be by his side until he is well enough to return home.
These funds will be used for Tommy's family so they can be with him while he fights through his illness so he can return home.
