Tonga and Samoa suffered greatly for the recent Cyclone Gita. More than 400 homes completely destroyed and thousands damaged. We need you help to supply families with basic necessities at this time.

This will be distributed by the local St Vincent de Paul volunteers in Tonga and Samoa.

About us

Vinnies Youth are the young members of the Society of St Vincent de Paul in Auckland who seek to make a difference in our communities through volunteering and acts of service.

There are Vinnies Youth in 14 secondary schools in Auckland and they work towards helping people through organising food drives, events to support those in need.

Community Immersion Projects: These are structured for the senior students to give them an experience of working alongside a supported community of people. There are opportunities to volunteers in Emergency housing centres, rest homes, hospitals and prisons etc

Use of funds

To fund the local relief work of the Society of St Vincent de Paul in Tonga and Samoa and also to fund toiletry, bedding and food-packs for these families.
